My name is Candace McKay, and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Although I dabbled in art throughout my life, it was during a pivotal time that I found a deep sense of purpose in it.

For over a decade, I have exhibited my work in galleries across the U.S. and internationally.
I am currently a member of the Bad Apple Artist Collective, where we hold monthly online art auctions.
In addition to my freelance work, I am also a restoration artist at Fourth Cone Restoration, helping to revive vintage posters and artwork.

I strive to tell stories and evoke emotion with my painted portraits of people and animals in whimsical, dream-like settings.
As of late, I have also been exploring themes from the medieval and Renaissance periods.
Alongside my original pieces, I have a love for creating fan art, where I enjoy capturing beloved characters in my own style.
